After Hannah was born in the United States, she grew up in Romania, her parents’ country of origin. She obtained her Bachelor in Psychology at the University Alexandru Ioan Cuza of Iasi, Romania, after studying 2 years in Romania and the 3rd year in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, with the Erasmus exchange program. Being very interested about how we can best unburden people suffering from mental health issues and how we can bring more attention towards psychopathology, she is now following the Master programme in Clinical Psychology at Leiden University.
She strongly believes in the effectiveness of “traditional” evidence-based psychotherapy approaches, like cognitive-behavioral therapy and client-centered therapy. In addition, she is very interested in fashion and the effect that what you wear has on how you feel and your mood. This is something she enjoys exploring for herself and would one day like to be able to use in therapy.
