The general practitioner (GP) plays a major role in the Dutch health care system. It is strongly recommended that you register with a GP. If you are insured with a Dutch insurance a referral letter from your GP (family doctor) is mandatory. Your GP has 2 ways of referring you to us. Either by referring you directly, or by referring via Zorgdomein. Please be aware that it will take longer to process your referral via Zorgdomein and that we will contact you as soon as we can.

If you are insured with a non-Dutch insurance, a referral letter from your GP or your company docter is required. This is in accordance with the Dutch medical association’s best practice guidelines and is necessary in order to reimburse the costs with your insurer.

Please fill in our online registration form and attach your referral letter.

Our secretary will contact you within five working days after receiving your registration form. They will ask you some additional personal questions and they will make an appointment with you for an intake. Please be aware that we need a copy of your referral before the actual intake takes place.

What happens after registration?

After registration, our professionals conduct an intake. An intake comprises a detailed interview with one of our senior therapists or psychiatrists.

Please bring with you on your first visit:

  • your passport/identity card
  • your referral letter
  • your health insurance card

All referrals, counseling and treatment services are confidential. Please note that filling in the registration form does not oblige you to treatment. All information will be treated as strictly confidential and will be stored securely.
