Obsessive compulsive personality disorder

The core problem of the obsessive compulsive personality is the extreme need for perfection and an inability to cope with the imperfect. You feel you have to be perfect to be good enough. Only 100% is acceptable and if you are not 100% in control you might feel you are losing control altogether. The thought of not having control can lead to severe feelings of panic, but at the same being in control all the time is impossible. In your relationships you tend to expect that other person follows your ‘rules of perfection’.
